Come As Ye' Are

LGBTQ+ Inclusion
At FTLOY, we celebrate and embrace the full spectrum of identities and expressions. We want everyone who walks through our doors to feel seen, respected, and valued exactly as they are, so making this studio a safe, welcoming space for everyone is super important to us.
We want you to know - whether you’re queer, trans, non-binary, or anywhere on that beautiful rainbow spectrum - that you belong here just as you are. This is a place where you can be your full, fabulous self without any fear of judgment or discrimination.
We’re always learning and growing, and we want to keep the conversation open. If there’s something we can do better, or if you have ideas on how to make the studio even more inclusive, please tell us! After all, this studio is for all of us, and we want it to be a space where everyone feels safe, celebrated, and supported.

All Minds Welcome
At FTLOY we are all about recognising, honouring and CELEBRATING the many ways people experience the world differently. We get how different brains need different kinds of space to feel comfortable and happy.
Whether you’re Autistic, have ADHD, sensory sensitivities, or just sometimes need a little extra calm, we want this to be a spot where you can relax and enjoy being creative without stress.
We’re hoping to roll out a handy little lanyard system so you can let us know what you need - without having to say a word. Feeling anxious? Need some quiet? Not up for chatting? Just grab a colour-coded lanyard from our basket when you visit. We’ll explain what each color means right here on the site and on our socials, so you can shop at your own pace and on your own terms.
Your comfort matters to us, and we’re always open to suggestions on how to make the space work better for you.

Accessibility
Our studio strives to be as accessible as possible, so everyone can enjoy their creative journey here. We are wheelchair accessible, with entryways and paths designed to welcome all mobility needs. That said, we want to be upfront about some limitations: our floors are not perfect and can be a bit tricky to navigate, so please let us know if you encounter any difficulties. Our restrooms are conveniently located on the ground floor, though they currently do not have additional aids or supports.
We are continuously working to improve our space to better meet diverse accessibility needs. Your input is invaluable—if there’s something we could do differently or better, please reach out, and we really mean that - we don't know what we don't know, so help us to help you. We want this to be a welcoming, comfortable place for everyone who loves craft and creativity, no matter their abilities or needs.
